Balanced Bride was developed in early 2009 with a simple vision: focus on the bride first. Weddings are a billion dollar industry, and with thousands of planning and resource sites out there, we couldn't find one that focused on the Bride first. At Balanced Bride, our goal is to list every possible wedding vendor in Charleston - regardless of whether or not they advertise with us - and to be the site that brides want. Let us be the ultimate Charleston Wedding Resource for you, the Bride.

With all of this in mind, a sales girl, a designer, and a programmer got together and made it all happen.

		Melyssa The Sales Girl. Melyssa Jaskiewicz has been in sales and marketing for over 10 years. She grew up in Washington, DC and went to school in Providence, RI before settling in Charleston, SC. Melyssa was married here in Charleston in 2008.
		Kit The Designer. Kit Menis grew up right here in Charleston and is president and founder of Kit Creative Marketing, a local design firm. Kit was also married in Charleston and currently resides in Mount Pleasant with her husband and their two-year-old daughter.
		Keith The programmer. Keith Morgan has been writing code for over 10 years and has experience in all types of web interfaces.  Keith lives with his girlfriend, and spends his free time concentrating on his photography.
