prisha_final_copy.jpgPrisha got married at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront, at Folly Beach. At first she and her husband Jimi planned to do the traditional "ceremony on the beach", but since the date they picked was still within hurricane season they opted for the hotel's Shipwatch room, which comfortably fit their 65 guests and displayed a great panoramic view of the ocean. Her colors were maroon, dusty pink, and sunset orange, and the two bridesmaids were able to pick whatever style of dress they wanted - as long as it was within the color scheme! - while the groomsmen were decked out in classic tuxedos. Keeping things easy and within budget, the reception was held in the Pavilion ballroom directly across the hall from the Shipwatch. "The guest list was the perfect size," Prisha says. "People who had never met before the ceremony were dancing together by the end of the night!" Most of the guests stayed at the Holiday Inn, so when it came time for the bride and groom to be whisked away for their first night of marital bliss, guests could continue the party at the hotel's Beach Bar, or stroll up to their rooms for some oceanside shut-eye.
